Q + A

Hi! Hope your week is going well:) Yesterday Hazel from Hazel Loves Design tagged me in a Q + A game. So here is my take on what she asked!

1. What's your hidden talent?

This took some thought. But in the end what I want to share with you is something that I actually do almost every day and a lot of people see me doing it (hence not SO hidden!)--I teach Pilates at several different studios around the Cincinnati area. To me, I feel this is a hidden talent because I would have never thought that I could stand up in front of people and tell them what to do (even if it just how to exercise!). I am very quiet by nature, and I'm sure that the people I did my teacher training program with maybe thought I wouldn't be cut out for it. But here I am, loving it so much more than I ever thought I could or would!!

2. What would your last meal be?

Wow! So hard to choose one thing. I'm not sure what I would say if I actually had to make that choice right now, but I do love a good low-country boil as photographed above.

3. Favorite teacher?

Mrs. House was my favorite teacher--she was my yearbook advisor and English teacher in high school. She really pushed me and opened up doors for me on the yearbook staff, which was the first introduction I had to any kind of design! And now what's funny is that I teach HER pilates!

4. Least favorite chore to do?

{photo of Nala, taken by me...when she was only a few days old!}

I hate cleaning up after my kitty, Nala...the hair and cleaning the kitty litter. If only she could do those things herself...

5. Cupcakes or macaroons?

I have honestly never had a macaroon/macaron (what's the difference again?) before. While they are pretty, I have to say cupcakes. I just adore cupcakes.

6. One summer movie that you have to watch?

Definitely Eclipse from the Twilight saga! Those books were so addicting!

7. What are you currently reading?

Right now, nothing. I need to find time to make a trip to the library! I just finished Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella (the one who wrote Confessions of a Shopaholic)...I know, very deep!

8. Who is your doppelganger?

Remember the week-that-turned-into-a-month-to-post-your-doppelganger-as-your-profile-picture-on-facebook? Well, here is a photo of me and Lauren Conrad, whom I put up in place of me in my profile picture during that period of time on facebook. Someone once told me I look like her. I can see maybe a little resemblance, but I'm not sold on it. Can you think of someone else who might be my doppelganger?

And to pass this along...if you want to participate, then it's your turn to the following lovely people!

If you have never checked out the above blogs, please do so!

The questions I would love for these six to answer are:
1. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
2. What is your favorite band?
3. If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be?
4. Concert or broadway show?
5. Theme song for your life?
6. Would you choose a fancy dinner at a nice restaurant or a picnic in the park?
7. Favorite place to shop?
8. Favorite movie?

Thanks for playing along and I look forward to your answers:) Thanks again to Hazel for tagging me!

  5. YAY!!! Love your answers, I wish I were in Cincinnati so I could come to your Pilates classes!! Lauren Conrad is the perfect doppelganger for you, she is so gorgeous, and a really good role model, for someone who is famous, basically for being famous she doesn't play up as annoyingly as the likes of Heidi Montag!

Also love Nala she is GORGEOUS... I'm guessing you have read the House of Night novels... I still haven't read the latest one yet, I am really looking forward to it! (Although I also haven't read Stephanie Meyers latest or Charlaine Harris' either!!)

YAY Thanks for playing along... it was so much fun!! :) Hazel
