S'more of what?

Ah, the endless jokes we can make out of the name s'more. Never mind though, because they are sooo good. The inevitable s'more display that pops up in the grocery store when the end of May rolls around so tempts me each time I stroll past. Does it do the same to you? I had my first s'more of the season back on Memorial Day here in the US (at the end of May), and that taste has me coming back for more (can you tell what's on my mind?). I will take a s'more anyway I can get it...even if I am toasting my marshmallow over the stovetop:)

I found these great ideas for favors to go along with my craving and so I can share it with others: DIY s'more kits!

The DIY instructions can be found here and here from Twig and Thistle and Project Wedding via Oh Happy Day. These would make fun parting gifts for your friends and family if you are having a get together for the fourth of July or for any kind of party you are having this summer!

Happy Wednesday!

  5. aren't they great? yum. makes me want one every time i see these photots!

@ aspiring kennedy - you are funny:) if i make them, i'll let you know and send one your way;)

@ hazel - so sorry you have never had one before. you have to try this. it's the easiest thing...break a graham cracker in half, then stack a square of chocolate on top of one half, roast a marshmallow over the fire (or your stovetop...i swear it works!) and put that on top of the chocolate, then finish with the other graham cracker half and ENJOY! let me know what you think once you've tried it!
